Here, There and Everywhere, Kaia Gerber is Taking Over and She's Our Current Style Icon

If it seems that model Kaia Gerber was everywhere in the fashion world in 2019, you're right. In fact, it would have taken us less time to write about the fashion houses that weren't signing Kaia to be the new face. It took us longer to source the extensive amount of campaign imagery for this post than it did to write it. From magazine covers to fashion campaigns with Jimmy Choo, Versace and Marc Jacobs, Kaia is rising to supermodel status.
The daughter of Cindy Crawford, and Rande Gerber, Kaia, launched onto the modeling scene in 2014. Since then, she's built up an amazing career portfolio, and she's our current style crush of the moment. With 5.1 Million followers on Instagram, Kaia is a woman of influence.
Here's a look back on some of Kaia's best fashion moments in 2019.
Kaia renewed her contract as the face of Marc Jacob's Daisy fragrance. She donned an embroidered top at the beach with a daisy crown in her tousled hair.
For the Vogue November 2019 issue, Kaia modeled a variety of bold prints and eclectic hairstyles. She wrote an essay about her mom's influence, how the fashion industry has changed, and her first experiences modeling.
"Many things can only be learned from firsthand experience, but I felt secure knowing the path I was about to take," she says.
YSL Beauty tapped Kaia as the face of the brand, and her first campaign launched in January 2019. She fronts YSL Beauty Rouge Volupte Shine & Colupte Plump-In-Colour Lipstick campaign. YSL picked the young model because she is the embodiment of the "authenticity" and "edginess" of her generation.
Kaia also appeared in a rock and roll inspired look in the #YSL23 campaign wearing a leather jacket and cutoff shorts.
Kaia appeared on the cover of Vogue UK in October, wearing a Valentino black and white jumpsuit, silk scarf, and red sparkly earrings. Talk about fashion royalty!
Kaia starred in Versace's Fall 2019 Campaign. The rock and roll inspired campaign photographed by Steven Meisel also featured Anok Yai and Bente Oort.
Kaia sported the VARENNE bowling bag in the Jimmy Choo Autumn Winter '19 campaign. Kaia wears a variety of boots and ensembles with the signature JC hardware.
For Spring - Summer 2019, Karl Lagerfeld selected Kaia, Adut Akech, and Anok Yai for his final campaign. The images were shot against a plain white background and featured the models wearing leather, denim, and graphic prints.
Stella McCartney paired Supermodel Kate Moss and Kaia Gerber to appear in the Spring/Summer 2019 campaign. This campaign centers around a theme of circles and features tie-dye prints and lemonade pastels.
At 18-year-old, Kaia's following into her mother's footsteps with an impressive portfolio under her belt.
